G5 Course
Our G5 math course covers five major modules: Computation and Estimation, Algebraic Equations, Geometry and Space, Fractions and Decimals, and Word Problems and Data Analysis. The course helps students enhance basic calculation skills, such as performing quick arithmetic operations and effective estimation. They will learn to solve linear equations in one variable and master methods like substitution and elimination for algebraic expressions. In the geometry section, students will explore the properties of geometric figures, calculate the perimeter and area of triangles and quadrilaterals, and apply the Pythagorean theorem to solve spatial problems.
Additionally, students will gain proficiency in converting between fractions and decimals and developing strong operational skills to handle measurements and real-life problems. The data analysis module will introduce students to using ratios and percentages to analyze data, as well as give them an initial exposure to probability and interpreting common charts and graphs.
Through heuristic teaching and hands-on activities, the course not only consolidates students' mathematical foundations but also nurtures their logical reasoning and comprehensive problem-solving abilities. This curriculum prepares them thoroughly for future academic exams and math competitions.
